OMG what an awesome time!!!!!!!!!!
That track is the GREATEST track of all time for the viewing public. You can see almost every inch of track from every seat in the house. Jumbo trons at every corner. Speakers with radio announcers going on the whole time keeping you informed. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!
almost no vendors though

It was SUPER easy to meet riders in the paddocks. We had Mladin and spies and whatnot walking around us the whole time... riding by on scooters... it was really cool

The dog wanted pictures so he could remember the meetings so we obliged and took photos
Bayliss was super friendly!

Zemke was just BEYOND friendly

Did you just up and go to the race track, or had you guys been planning a visit for a while?

we had been planning it a while... but in reality, we just up and went

booked a room at a Motel 6 2 months ago cuz they allow pets. Bought the tickets about 6 months ago.
Booked the time off from work and TA_DA! we packed wednesday and left thursday

10.5 hrs to get there
9 hrs to get back

My boss would shoot me in the face if I asked for the time off... we are so busy it is insane. Hopefully by Fall or Spring things get better and then I will get more time to ride and get back to the track, and go catch some racing. We can paint letters on our chest, but we need a few more volunteers..
