I did a body lift on my truck this last weekend, and I did it without the instructions.

Men don't use instructions, especially when they blow away because you left them on the driveway overnight while you got drunk with the neighbors...

I bought the body lift kit about 2 years ago, and I started looking at it and thought, "gee, I should put this on the truck..."

I'll post up some pics later.

did that help with the tires rubbing?

Yeah, the tires don't touch the fenders anymore. If I try and take it all the way out to lock I get some rubbing on the frame, but not much because the rims are offset a little. I have some rubber fenders that I am going to put on this weekend. Gotta get the bike fixed too, so I have lots of fun projects this weekend.

How much did you raise your truck! If the tires rubbed, how big were you tires?? A Tahoma normally has plenty of clearance. Must have been some monsters!!!

I went from 31 inch tires to 35 inch tires, so I got about 2 extra inches of clearance under the axles. I wish I would have taken some "before" photos. I raised the suspension about 2 in front and 3 in back. The body lift is 3 inches all the way around, so about 5 in front and 3 in the back. I'll get out and take some pictures this evening; my camera will melt if I go outside right now.
