Welcome to what the Black Hills (SD) is REALLY like most of the year! Most visitors only see the nice warm days of summer here. Make no mistake usually we have about 4 good months of nice weather and 8 months of snow and storms! It's dang hard after coming from a place like California where it's basically ride all year round. We've been here now 18 years and we're still not used to the Winters! ;-)
