SPOTTED: Yamaha RZV500 Nope, the bike sure isn't mine but it's just one of those (at least HERE) rare bikes I wish I could of owned over the years. I have no doubt these might be common in other parts of the world, but definately not here in the USA. This is a bike that was never approved for sale in the U.S., a Yamaha RZV500 (two-stroke water-cooled 4-cylinder). I spotted this at a rally in the Cuyuma Valley (California) about 18 years ago. It was a 'Grey-Market-Vehicle' smuggled into the country by (of all people) a Police Officer! For the rest of us to do so back then it would of meant a $10,000 fine and a year in Federal Prison! Never the less, glad I got to at least see one once.... ;-)
