New Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tires on Friday

Yesterday I went to the store and ordered some new tires for my CBR954. I thought about getting another set of Michelin Pilot Race tires, but the cost is too high so I went with the Pilot Power 2CT.
2CT is a two-compound trickle down technology from motogp racing. The front tire uses soft compound on 10 percent of the sidewalls and a medium in the center. The rear uses medium/soft on 11 percent of the sides and medium in the center.
I have used the Pilot Sports, Pilot Powers, and Pilot Power Races. I have been off of the track for a couple of years so it will be interesting to not only get back to riding a track but also to test the new tires. I normally use a 190/50 on the rear, but I had them order me a 190/55 instead.
Once I get some ride time in on them, I will report back. | | | |
