Rare farkle for a '83

The aftermarket folks just don't make anything for early Honda's. I found this nos chrome radiator cover, and I had to have it. Yeah, I know chrome don't get you home, (but it might get you to her house.) lol
Here it is:

and here it is installed.

(I'm trying to get as much chrome as Custom 85'VT lol)
I can't bring myself to put the legally required reflectors on it.

Awesome bling! Are you calling me out for a chrome-off battle?

I had no idea it was legally required. Is that a federal or state thing? The crash bars I am putting on (made to fit a Sabre) came with a reflector relocation “kit” so you could move them from the radiator to the front fender (stick on, just in front of the forks). So I guess they don’t need to be in that exact place. So if you are worried about being hassled by the man then just put a generic set of reflectors wherever they look best and are convenient.

I'll never be able to compete with that chrome tank! lol
You da man!

According to my state code I have to have two amber and two red side reflectors (one each side.)

"On each side, 1 red as far to the rear
as practicable, and 1 amber as far to the front
as practicable."

http://www.dot4.state.pa.us/pdotforms/pub_45/tables.pdf

Seems that they aren't real strict on location as long as they are there.
I gave some thought to a small strip of reflective tape on the forks. I didn't realize they have to be amber. Yuk! I was going to use white.
