Well I currently have a Syed suit, custom made/fitted and I love this thing. It's very good quality leather and came highly recommended in crash ratings from friends that were kind enough to test theirs so I would know this.

My problem is, over the last year I have lost 70 lbs....so I sent the suit back the other week to get altered and they said they can do it but it will take major work and would cost between 400-500. OR they would prefer if I traded that suit in and bought a new one at 1/2 price that is made to my new measurements.

So it's either spend 500 to alter a suit, 700 for a new Syed or TRY to find a suit somewhere else that would fit me for less. being a girl and def built like one makes buying a suit off the rack almost impossible.

Any thoughts or suggestions on manufactures...or other options. Right now I"m leaning toward the new suit....

Sounds like a sweet deal on the new leathers, and I bet they will fit better than modifying the older set. I lost #30 this year. All my stuff doesn't fit either. lol Think how much faster you will be this year!

Yeah I think I've decided to just let them make me a brand new set for 700. That's really a great deal on custom made set. And like I said they are great quality you can just tell by their feel and make.

Besides, my 'sponsor' told me last night he wanted to buy them for me.... we are going to see if they will give us a deal on getting him a pair also if I order the new set. If he can get a set for 700-800 too then it's decided.

New leathers sounds like a great deal. Like was mentioned. If you loved them the first time, the leather folks must be doing something right. I'd go with a new one made to fit you.

Of course I really don't know what I'm talking about since I've never purchased or worn a good set of leathers.

I pulled these pics up side-by-side and it's sorta funny to see the difference.

My old leathers the day I got them 2 years ago

AND, my new leathers re-fitted since I lost 70lbs...

It's probably hard to see the difference on here but holy cow are they smaller..haha. I was like wow I wonder if my butt is even gona fit in those things..They are tight but will stretch as they wear slightly and will be perfect in a couple track days...

I love them, Great job to Syed Leathers once again....

Very nice set of leathers.

Now you know you are not allowed to lose anymore weight... If you do, you'll have to stuff the leathers with toilet paper...
