| Spider Interwebby Thingy  | Why it is important to wear boots when riding. The photos show why it is important to wear boots when you ride. She had a helmet, jeans and jacket and they worked perfectly. The one spot where she didn't have protection is the spot she suffered severe injury... |

| Spider Interwebby Thingy | Grinding your foot off hurts That looks like it probably didn't feel good. Over the ankle foot protection that won't come off is really important. If you have ever happened to see a motorcycle crash, you will know pretty quick if a person had on boots because they will still be on their feet. If they were wearing sneaker type shoes, they usually end up somewhere around the crash scene, but not on the rider's feet. |

| Spider Interwebby Thingy | Painful and scarring foot injury If I had to guess, she lowsided which kept the weight of the bike on her foot as she slid across the street. That looks like it is going to leave a deep scar. Thankfully for her, she was wearing the rest of her gear.  |
