Now it is time to actually make the trailer into a motorcycle trailer:
- The wheels were put on before I went to sleep that night.
- I went shopping for wood, and brought home the 4x8 sheet of plywood and all the bits and pieces needed to put a motorcycle on a trailer. Then once it was all put together, the painting began. The channel for the tires was painted black.
- The rest of the trailer uses a black and white checkerboard pattern. The paint is a flat black with sand mixed in so that it isn't slippery when wet. I will need to paint it again pretty soon because flat white paint won't stay white very long. Next time I will add some clear coat mixed with sand though.
- My truck box was put on the trailer for storage. I have been wanting to get it out of my truck for a while so this was perfect. With the exception of the motorcycle front wheel chock, some wire primping for looks, and cutting and painting the ramp, she is officially a motorcycle trailer now.
