Let's hear about your project cars!

yeah, 2 wheels are always better, but i know i'm not the only one who got their start tinkering with cars. show us what you're working on!

mine is a '79 mazda rx7. i used to have an '84 gs and loved that little car, but i'm not a rotard or into the whole ricer scene at all. you never see these cars on the road and i like things that are a little different. i bought it for $200, 99% rust free with intentions for a v8 swap. currently the interior is gutted, drivetrain pulled, and all wiring removed. anyone need a 12a? being realistic as far as $$$ and fabrication involved, an LT1/200r4 is what i'll eventually be going with, plus i already have experience with that engine. i've been researching this stuff for about 3 years now and i dont' see why the whole build can't be done for $10k.

2500lbs + a mild 400hp = FUN!!!

That’s kind of a sore spot with me as ATM there is no way I can afford such an extravagance yet every time I go out into the garage it is a constant reminder of better days past. So it’s an endless **ck punch. In fact two years back I had to sell my long standing project 69 Camaro (a veritable dream car) and I still have one last project left to taunt me.

Luckily the bike (a seemingly never ending project) helps drain some of those creative juices without being too much of a financial burden, my last vestige of vice.
