| I don't see how they help at all. Even loud pipes aren't really heard until you are RIGHT beside someone on the road or in front of them and by that time it's too late. I think they are an annoyance mainly.
and while I don't completely share your feelings LowRider on that cagers just don't give a Fack, they certainly do cause a lot of problems for us. I think just like motorcyclists don't always give a **** and do ignorant things the same ratio applies to cars. Most do care, they just don't see us because they are not paying attn or they 'think' they can beat us there and turn in front mis-judging our speed due to our size. I don't think 99% have any intention of hurting a biker they just don't pay attn. That's not an excuse but it's more un-intentional than you make it sound. |
