99.99% of Motorcyclists will swear by em' but I am not one of em'. I came to the conclusion years ago that anything and everything that sets off and gives the psychopaths in Cages just one more excuse to take after us with 2 tons of steel, is surely not worth the tradeoff of a bit more supposed visibility. Yes, I do however always run 2 additional small Driving Lamps on any motorcycle out on the road. They are solely for the purpose of being seen in the daytime – not even for night use. I have them mounted low so the poor abused Cage Drivers won’t get irritated by they’re being on during the daytime (heaven forbid). My contention is the blankety-blanks see em’ and are momentarily confused, “is it a car or is it a motorcycle”?! Because I cannot nor ever will accept… especially after getting plowed under (left-turned) in 1981 and the resulting Multiple-Sclerosis from the trauma 10 years ago… that Car Drivers do NOT see us?! They see us alright – never think otherwise… they just don’t give a frack! The laws of the jungle apply out there, make no mistake about it.
