Back in June I took Nora on a trip for her birthday weekend. The plan was to go to the shrine in Yarnell, and then stay the night in Prescott. The next night we would stay in Jerome and visit the Grand Canyon, and then the next day ride back through Prescott and head home. I don't have time to load all the photos at once, but here are a few.
We were supposed to leave Friday after work, but we were tired and so we didn't leave until Saturday morning. A day behind, but we would just make it up on the last day.
Luckily the price has gone down a little bit, but here is what gas was costing me at the pump the morning we left.
This was the first stop; it is on 60, but I can't remember the name of the place. People who ride out there a lot will recognize it because of the windmill and propane tank in front.
Nora:
This is Arizona, so it gets hot. After some rest and drinks, we loaded back up and we were on our way to Wickenburg.
More in a bit.
